Arizona marriage license guide
How to get a marriage license in Arizona
Arizona issues marriage licenses through the Clerk of the Superior Court in any county and there is no waiting period — couples can marry the same day. The license is unusually long-lived: 12 months from issuance. Fees vary by county (Maricopa charges $83, others up to $98). Two witnesses age 18+ are required at the ceremony. Arizona does not recognize common-law marriages contracted within the state.
