How to get a marriage license in Hawaii
Hawaii allows online application through the state's electronic Marriage License System and issues licenses through Department of Health Marriage License Agents on each island. The fee is $65 ($60 license + $5 online portal). There is no waiting period and the license is valid for 30 days, usable only within Hawaii. Witnesses are not statutorily required. Hawaii does not recognize common-law marriage.
