Indiana marriage license guide
How to get a marriage license in Indiana
Indiana has no waiting period and the license is valid for 60 days. Residents pay $25 (apply in a county where either party lives); non-residents pay $65 (apply in the county where the ceremony will be held). Most counties accept cash only. Two witnesses are required. Indiana abolished common-law marriage on January 1, 1958 — those formed before remain valid.
